From 1983 to the present...

The following photos should give a small insight into my life from 1983 until now. Enjoy it!

It all began on 7th July1983...

One year later, life was still quite pleasant.

Unfortunately, several years later I had to start my academic career.

The final class photo of my grammar school where I received the school leaving certificate with honours.

One of my journalistic projects together with Christoph Weiermair involved a public reading.

Studying at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein in Austria.

A students' project called Economic Knowledge and Success Forum brought us to several reputable conferences, for instance to the Finance Foundation conference in Venice.

During my studies, I spent a five-months internship in Berlin.

A gallery with the last parts of the Berlin Wall offers an interesting thought which serves as my favourite motto.

Once, I've been on TV during my stay in Berlin.

During my studies, I spent two semesters of exchange studies in Dublin.

At the Dublin Institute of Technology I specialized in International Finance.

Of course, I also met a lot of sheep in Ireland.

On a ten-day round trip along Ireland's coast, the Cliffs of Moher offered a unique panoramic view.

Back in Kufstein, I finished my studies with honours.

Moreover, I received an award for the best diploma thesis of my course of studies.

My next stop was Vienna, where I started my PhD studies at the University of Vienna in 2005.

Moreover, I once met our President Heinz Fischer.

Together with Austria's football player of the 20th century Herbert Prohaska.

A picture of my niece Nadine.

And my nephews Michael and Philipp who are obviously twins.

In my free time, as every Austrian I like to go skiing in winter.

In spring and autumn, hiking is the best way to explore Austria's rich landscape.

And in summer (as well as the rest of the year), I enjoy playing football together with friends in our hobby team FC Funcourt.

Finally, newly founded SV Austria Salzburg is my favourite professional football club.

On 7th July 2007 I celebrated my "birthday of the century" due to the special date of 07/07/07.

In January 2008, I met one of Austria's best football players, Ivica Vastic.
