This section contains information and documents related to my PhD studies in "Management" at the University of Vienna which I have started in 2005. Dissertation In the course of my dissertation with Prof. Heidenberger at the Chair for Innovation and Technology Management of the University of Vienna I am investigating the topic of R&D Project Valuation in Biotechnology Companies. Here, my research is focused on the use of real options valuation, decision tree analysis and system dynamics models for valuing R&D project in biotechnology. After having finished the relevant PhD courses, I am currently working on a scientific publication on real options valuation in the area of research and development which forms part of the theoretical background of my dissertation.
